What to know
before you book.

The honest bit — the trade-offs first, not buried. Drawn from recurring themes in real guest reviews, with weather and one-offs filtered out.

What's included
The ultra-all-inclusive rate covers buffet meals from 07:00 to 01:00, local and selected imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks around the clock at the Sea Lounge Bar, a daily-restocked in-room minibar, Wi-Fi, sunloungers and towels at pool and beach, the fitness centre, hammam, and sauna. À la carte restaurant dinners, individual spa treatments, room service, and some supervised children's activities carry a surcharge.
The beach
The Blue Flag private beach is genuinely sandy with a wooden pier and loungers provided free of charge, giving direct Mediterranean frontage. The sea entry involves a narrow strip of small pebbles before reaching sand, so beach shoes are a practical addition; the wider Lara Beach strip can also feel very busy in peak summer.
The food
The vast main buffet earns consistent praise for variety and quality, and snack outlets — including a patisserie, a gözleme corner, and a pool-side pizza and pasta station — keep food available all day. Guests on longer stays sometimes find the buffet rotation repetitive, and à la carte restaurants are an extra cost despite being on-site.
Best for
Families with children who want a self-contained, activity-rich resort with a water park, kids' club, and multiple pools will feel very much at home here. Couples are well catered for too, with an adults-only pool, a pier with cabanas, a full spa, and a 24-hour beach bar — though the resort's scale and family focus mean it is rarely truly tranquil.
Size & feel
At 57,000 m² the grounds are genuinely expansive and manicured, with a contemporary minimalist design and bold colour accents in communal areas. The resort's size means walking distances between rooms, the beach, and the main restaurant can be considerable, and the property operates with the busy, programmed rhythm of a large all-inclusive.
Getting there
Baia Lara is located approximately 15 km from Antalya International Airport (AYT), translating to roughly a 15–25 minute transfer depending on traffic — one of the shorter airport runs on the Lara strip. The Lara hotel zone sits around 17 km east of Antalya city centre, making the old town a taxi ride of roughly 30–40 minutes; free on-site parking is available for self-drive guests. The hotel is seasonal, closing from November through to April.
